On 12 April, Being Global: A Green Paper on Internationalisation at the University of Adelaide was launched.
The Green Paper outlines the challenges and opportunities present as we strive to enhance the University of Adelaide’s global reach, profile and impact.
The Paper builds on a series of discussions held across the University in 2017. These included focussed consultations involving around 500 staff and students, as well as the inaugural Global Café Sessions which examined global trends in internationalisation and the University’s place in an increasingly globalised world.
As the University revises its approach to its internationalisation, Being Global: A Green Paper on Internationalisation at the University of Adelaide aims to elicit further feedback from the University community and beyond on key areas of international ambition, activity and opportunity.
As an engaged institution, we value the importance of the views of all our staff, students and key stakeholders in this discussion. I strongly encourage everyone with an interest in the ‘global’ future of the University of Adelaide to respond to the document, either directly through a variety of fora on campus or by making a submission.
You will note there are two versions of the Green Paper. The blue button is for the University Community and includes internal considerations. To access this paper you will need to use your University log on details. The grey button is for our external stakeholders and partners.
All sections of this paper include questions to elicit further discussion and debate.
Feedback and submissions on any aspect of this Green Paper are welcome: firstname.lastname@example.org
Submissions closed on 12 June, 2018.
