Congratulations to Hon Yeung (Dexter) Chan, recipient of the 2014 Scholarship, for his project entitled ‘TRole of Mir14ba in the immune response to pregnancy', under the primary supervision of Prof Sarah Robertson.
The Robinson Institute awards one Honours scholarship to a high acheiving student undertaking their Honours research project under the primary supervision of one of the Robinson Institute's Research Leaders.
The successful applicant will:
- Receive a tax-free scholarship to the value of up to $7,000
- Be enrolled in The Robinson Institute Mentoring Program.
- Undertake a research project within a successful research team
About E/Prof Jeffrey Robinson
Emeritus Professor Jeffrey Robinson, born in Northern Ireland, was appointed Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Adelaide in 1986. Under his leadership the University developed its outstanding reputation for research into fetal-maternal physiology and reproductive medicine and biology. In 2006 he was awarded a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) for his services to maternal and fetal heath. In 2008 the Robinson Institute, named after E/Prof Jeffrey Robinson, was formed. Jeffrey continues to be involved in research at The Robinson Institute.
