Report an Incident

We want to ensure everyone at the University of Adelaide can study and work in a safe and inclusive environment.

If you have experienced, seen or heard about behaviour that may be concerning, threatening, illegal or inappropriate, please let the University know.

You can tell us by using the form below, calling the Integrity Unit on 8313 0609, or emailing integrityunit@adelaide.edu.au.

A report can be made by any member of the University community. The University community includes students, staff, titleholders, volunteers, visitors, and contractors.

Before making a report you should know:

Making a report does not automatically mean the person the report is about will be notified, or that a complaints process is initiated.
You may also choose to remain anonymous when you make your report.
You can also contact the Integrity Unit for information and to talk through your options before you make a report.

Once you have made a report:

The report will be received by the Integrity Unit.
If you provide contact details, the Integrity Unit will acknowledge receipt of your report.
Once your report has been reviewed, an Integrity Unit staff member will be in contact with you to discuss next steps.

Further information about the types of behaviour that are unacceptable at the University can be found on the Integrity Unit website.

Please describe the incident or concerns that you wish to report, in the level of detail you are comfortable providing. You should include the details of any people involved (if you know them). They will not be notified of your report unless you consent for them to be contacted. It is helpful if you can include a location or event details. Please provide as much information as you are comfortable doing at this time to assist us in responding to your report.

Date of incident. You can give an exact date or an approximate time eg. 1 month ago. If there have been multiple occurrences, you can list the dates.

Please include information about whether you have already reported this matter to the police, if you intend to do so and/or if you would like further information about your options.
