Lorne Cancer Conference 2025

The South Australian immunoGENomics Cancer Institute (SAiGENCI) and Adelaide Centre for Epigenetics (ACE) were well represented at the 37th annual Lorne Cancer Conference held from the 13th to 15th of February in Lorne, a coastal town on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria.

A warm congratulations to our PhD candidates who presented their research at the meeting this year.

  • An Nguyen - Establishment of a novel syngeneic mouse model to study the role of sphingolipid metabolism in prostate cancer (poster presentation).
  • Jacob Truong - Identifying prognostic lipid signatures associated with clinical disease relapse in patients with localised prostate cancer by spatial mass spectrometry imaging (invited talk).
  • Tianjun (Percy) Zhang - Revealing transcription factor networks driving neuroendocrine-like reprogramming in prostate cancer (poster presentation).
