SAiGENCI kicked off it’s 2025/26 summer research program with a morning tea last week, celebrating the arrival of this year’s students.
The event was filled with conversation and connection as students met each other, engaged with their supervisors and had a chat with some of SAiGENCI’s summer student alumni who have gone on to further research projects with the Institute.
This year’s cohort is a dynamic mix of talent, bringing together students from across academic disciplines including Science, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Studies, Mathematical Sciences, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Health and Medical Sciences. Their diverse backgrounds highlight the many pathways into cancer research.
We look forward to supporting the students as they embark on their projects, gaining valuable insights into cancer research and we hope each one enjoys a rewarding and memorable summer of discovery.
