    Are you stuck on what to study for your Research Project? Come along and be inspired by a PhD student and academic staff member from each of our schools as they talk about their current research. This will be followed by a workshop where you can mingle with students from other schools and brainstorm ideas for your research topic.

  • Design competition

    Are you a design buff? Do you live and breathe design? Do you have a creative mind? Then our Design Competition is for you. We will do a shout out in term 2 for teams of 4-5 students from South Australian schools to respond to a design brief from the School of Architecture and Built Environment. You will receive support throughout the project from our academic staff and an academic and public choice award will be given to the winning teams.

  • United we stand, divided we fall

    Experience the economics of cooperation in a computer gamelike environment. Play a very simple interacting decision game with your classmates on a computer. Find out what hints a video from a UK game show can give us about why we play these games as we do. Finally, learn why the situation underlying these little games have a lot more importance in our lives than you think.

  • High school moot competition

    Do you want to be the next Atticus Finch (To Kill A Mockingbird), Rachel Zane (Suits), or Dennis Denuto (The Castle)? The Adelaide Law School is offering teams of 6-8 students from South Australian High Schools the opportunity to compete in our annual mooting competition. The competition is held over two days: on day one you’ll attend a workshop run by law students and expert mooters. Here you’ll create written submissions and
    develop your oral arguments. On day two, armed with your submissions and a plan of attack, you’ll compete against other schools in front of judges made up of academics and members of the legal profession. Participating students will gain insight into the workings of a mock-trial, whilst learning invaluable skills in persuasion and argumentation.
