Short run. Giant strides.
Every single day, 50 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia. University of Adelaide researchers in the Dame Roma Mitchell Cancer Research Laboratories and led by Professor Wayne Tilley work on research programs to improve disease outcomes by deeply understanding the role of sex hormones in tumour behaviour. Their research is used to develop new drugs and treatments.
This year, the University of Adelaide, Adelaide University Sport and the Dame Roma Mitchell Cancer Research Laboratories teamed up and took part in the Mother’s Day Classic walk and fun run on Sunday 12 May 2019.
Thank you to everyone who participated!
