A special aged care issue of JBI Evidence Implementation
In a collaboration between JBI at The University of Adelaide and Flinders University, researchers from Flinders have developed a comprehensive, evidence-based toolkit for implementing innovation. This program of work culminates in a special issue of the peer-reviewed journal, JBI Evidence Implementation.
Led by Prof Gill Harvey, Dr Carol Davy, Dr Alice Windle, Dr Amy Marshall and Dr Lenore de la Perrelle, the team published 11 articles over 12 months that define and detail the complex dynamics required to successfully introduce new practices and innovations in aged care settings.
“JBI guidance on evidence synthesis proved vital in conducting a comprehensive review of a large body of literature”, said Dr Alice Windle. “It made a complex task much more manageable and helped to ensure a rigorous review process and reliable findings. The team at JBI Evidence Implementation were great to work with and facilitated our efforts to share this important body of work with relevant audiences.”
