National AAACP Conference awards

AAACP

Researchers from the Adelaide Medical School have been recognised for their research excellence at the 2023 Australasian Association for Academic Primary Care Conference in Melbourne. Professor Nigel Stocks was awarded the prestigious Charles Bridges-Webb Medal, and Research Fellow Dr Carla Bernardo was awarded the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPRG) Distinguished Paper award.

Free online sessions for Women's Health Week

Women's Health Week: 4–8 September. 'Grow your knowledge' is this year's theme with topics including information on endometriosis, menopause, nutrition, and early detection screenings. Choose from 9 sessions. All sessions are external and run during the day or evening. More information.

Student Health and Wellbeing are offering grants of up to $300 during Health Week (14–18 August). Applications are invited from student clubs, associations, and staff areas for events or initiatives that promote healthy eating. Applications due by Sunday 16 July. More information
