The University Library will present this 30 minute webinar on the Read and Publish agreements, covering the opportunities available to publish Open Access in certain journals without paying an article processing charge. Thursday 4 April, 10-10:30 am. Online. Register.
Open Access publishing
This webinar will cover the updated University Open Access Policy, the different types of Open Access (OA) publishing currently available, what options are available for publishing your own work, Open Access, OA licensing and copyright, and things to look out for in Open Access publishing agreements. Open Access Policy
The revised Open Access Policy was approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President on 7 August, becoming effective immediately. Information for researchers concerning options for publishing their research outputs Open Access can be found here, which includes submission guidelines for the University Research Repository AR&S.
University Open Access Policy Draft Revisions
Feedback is sought from the University community on draft revisions to the Open Access policy. Feedback and comments can be submitted via the draft policies page by close of business 2 June.
