My mentor was friendly and easy to talk to. The conversations were insightful and came with valuable advice on the steps to take to achieve my career aspirations, as well as helpful tips relating to building resumes and preparing for job interviews.

As international students, we have big dreams and we probably also have a road map, but we are not always sure if we are in fact taking the necessary right steps to achieve these aspirations. The process of being a mentee in this mentoring program allowed me to see what right steps I had already taken and also inspired me to realise what other steps I could possibly take that would enable me to achieve my career goals.

I would recommend this program to other international students because there is a lot you can learn from your mentors who are professionals that have had a lot of experience in their industry. You can also gain valuable insights and advice on any questions or doubts you may have about your career directions and the steps you plan on taking.
