It can be difficult to know how to prepare for your career. The Careers Service has developed online learning courses to assist you with career planning, industry insights and more.

Introduction to Career Readiness: What does Career Readiness mean? Why do you need to know about it? This course will answer these questions and give you access to career planning materials, employer perspectives and graduate advice.

Employers, Industry and You: In this course you will gain insights into understanding yourself (who am I, what am I good at and what do I want). You will build on this knowledge about yourself to start exploring options of different employers, industries and occupations. Finally, you will hear tips and learn strategies for connecting with employers in your future industry.

Resumes & Cover Letters, Interviews, Work Experience, Graduate Applications: These topics are presented in short mini-courses to assist you in actioning your career and building skills for the marketplace. Other topics within the mini-courses include selection criteria and assessment centres.
