Furniture Hire

The Examinations & Results Office (E&RO) offers furniture for hire for exams held at the University. To arrange hire, please complete our online form.

Available furniture

Desks
60cm x 50cm, green, wooden top, metal legs
Cost: $2.50 each (incl. GST) - For a period of 1-7 calendar days.

Chairs
Green, plastic
Cost: $2.50 each (incl. GST) - For a period of 1-7 calendar days.

Trestle Tables
white, plastic, metal folding legs
Cost: $10 each (incl. GST) - For a period of 1-7 calendar days.

Hire terms and conditions

  • Availability - We reserve the right not to hire out items when they are required for University examinations.
  • Delivery - The hirer agrees to arrange pickup and delivery* at their expense, and to return all items by the agreed date. Please contact 8313 0701 (phone) to arrange the collection of furniture.
  • Repair - The hirer agrees to return the items in good condition (clean, working order). We reserve the right to recover from the hirer any costs for the repair or replacement of damaged items.
  • Payment - We will invoice the hirer. The hirer agrees to the hire fee and to make payment within the specified timeframe. A pickup and delivery fee will be invoiced separately.
  • Quantity - The E&RO will be in contact regarding the maximum quantity. Depending on the time and date, there are 3000 desks and chairs for hire. Depending on availability, there are 5 trestle tables available for hire. Please contact the E&RO if more are required.

* Pick-up/Delivery Point: Underground car park, The University of Adelaide, North Terrace.
