From 1 January 2022, the following changes have taken effect:

1.       Completion rate requirements for Commonwealth supported students and FEE-HELP students

All students commencing a new program in a Commonwealth supported place from 1 January 2022, or accessing a FEE-HELP loan in a postgraduate coursework program commencing from 1 January, 2022, must maintain a completion rate of 50% or higher after attempting their first eight courses (24 units) in a Bachelor or above qualification, or after attempting four courses (12 units) in a Graduate Certificate qualification, otherwise they will become ineligible for a Commonwealth supported place and HECS-HELP, or FEE-HELP.
