National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) plays an integral role in the University’s cultural life. It is in this week that we raise awareness of the importance of coming together to acknowledge and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures across the institution.

The 2020 theme for National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is In This Together. This theme reinforces our shared role of building mutual respect and understanding in the spirit of reconciliation.

Share what reconciliation means to you and we will create a virtual Sea of Hands with your comments.

Share your comments

This National Reconciliation Week we invite you to listen to Uncle Rod O’Brien, Cultural Advisor, explain the importance of maintaining indigenous languages and teaching a few common phrases in Kaurna language along the way.
