In some circumstances, it may be possible to resolve your complaint by reaching an agreement that meets the needs of both you and the respondent.
Once your appeal has been submitted, student affairs will assess whether there is an opportunity for this to occur. This may involve talking to both you and the respondent about the options available to you. If you and the respondent agree to enter into negotiations, the student grievance resolution process is paused for up to 15 business days.
Any proposed settlement agreement must be approved by the Executive Director, Division of Academic and Student Engagement.
