Bath Spa University is well known for being a hub of creativity where they specialise in teaching and researching across Art, Sciences, Education, Social Science and Business. With a reputation that has been built on more than 160 years of tradition and success, Bath Spa is growing steadily with exciting new courses and areas of research.

Bath Spa's environment is one of the most atmospheric in the United Kingdom. Historic campuses and innovative facilities combine to give students the best of the old and new.

The UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath is ranked as one of the United Kingdom's safest student cities. With its rich culture and eclectic mix of museums, coffee bars, restaurants, galleries and theatres, Bath has its own distinct and vibrant culture.

Course Workload: Students normally take 60 Bath Spa credits per semester, or 120 Bath Spa credits per academic year. Most modules are 20 credits each which equates to studying 3 modules per semester.

For more academic information, see the Bath Spa Module CatalogueLink to external website.

Credit Approval (Post-Decision Phase): Prior to departure for exchange, it is recommended that exchange students seek credit approval, in GLAS, from their Adelaide Faculty for more courses than they intend to complete on exchange. It is likely that course offerings won’t be finalised until shortly before arrival or upon arrival at your exchange destination. Students need to have flexible back up options in the case that the courses they are wanting to undertake are not offered.

If, after initial approval in GLAS, further changes are required, these can be presented via an email to your Adelaide Faculty. Students should be aware of the implications of not having back up courses in the event their preferred courses are not available.

Bath Spa offers a range of self-catered accommodation options, however, not every accommodation option will be available for exchange students every year as the university's accommodation team allocates rooms in different halls each semester.
