We are pleased to announce the arrival of a new tool which makes it easy for researchers to complete their data management plans online. Research Data Planner includes information already entered in Research Master, automatically saves plans in HPECM, and facilitates collaborative creation with colleagues. Staff members using a UofA-supplied Optus service with an Apple iPhone are now able to use Optus’ Number Sharing feature to connect their phone service to their Apple Watch (Series 4 Cellular + GPS model). This enables users to use the built-in cellular to take calls, send texts and listen to voicemail via their watch, without having to keep their phone with them at all times.
