Tech Tips: Working from home

There are a range of helpful tools that can support you to work and collaborate with colleagues from home.

To make it easier, it's a great idea to set up a few things in advance so they are there if you need them - ideally, before you leave the office, but a lot of set-up can also be done remotely.

Firstly, work out what you need, or need access to. This may include downloading software and tools, such as Zoom for meetings; forwarding work calls; working out if you need VPN (most won’t but some will); and copying important files onto Box, an online cloud storage tool. Also, taking your laptop home at the end of the day.

Check out our Working From Home page for more detail on technology and tools that can help you to work from home.
