When it comes to accessing the University network, there is nothing more convenient than doing it wirelessly – now you can stay connected anywhere on campus with your laptop or other portable device.
Get fast access to IT services including the internet, intranet, email, and online education with the University’s very own wireless network.
Connecting to the UofA wireless network

The eduroam wireless network is a secure world-wide roaming service developed for the international research and education community.
Not only can you use eduroam to connect wirelessly at the University, you can also visit any participating education institution or medical facility and access network services using your UofA login credentials.
To connect to University resources, such as your U: or S: drive, or internal websites and applications, you will need to connect via our Virtual Private Network (VPN) tool. This does not apply to SA Public Hospitals or SA Health locations. See more information below.

Connecting at hospitals and SA Health locations
All University services, such as network drives (U: and S:), internal websites and applications are available by connecting to the eduroam network in these locations. Simply use the Onboard tool as outlined above to connect.

Are you registered to another educational institution? If so, you might be eligible to use the eduroam wireless network when on a UofA campus.
This secure world-wide roaming service allows you to connect wirelessly using the login credentials of your home institution.

Connecting to eduroam
Configuration settings are usually provided by your home institution. We recommend configuring and testing eduroam via your home IT department before coming to the University of Adelaide campus.
