Data Extraction Technology

The University of Adelaide has partnered with the Research Information Technology Unit (HaBIC R2) at the University of Melbourne to deploy GRHANITE™ Link to external website , a powerful software application for the secure and ethical collection of the vaccination data for the STARSS Study.

GRHANITE has been developed and managed by the University of Melbourne since 2007. It is the most advanced software suite of its kind in Australia, providing government agencies and initiatives, healthcare organisations and Universities with a powerful tool to collect data for the purposes of audit, clinical research and health surveillance.

The philosophy of GRHANITE is to provide a one-stop technological solution to healthcare data collection for audit, research and health surveillance that works Australia-wide.
