Here are some top tips to help you fully engage in a task:
- Identify and use your strengths
Think which ones appeal to you most, or feel most true to who you are, or use the on-line survey. Once you have done this you can start to look at ways to use your strengths in all areas of your life. It can be fun and a challenge to think about ways to use your strengths:
- at work
- when studying
- in relationships
- when having fun and relaxing
- Find your flow experiences
Make a list of times when you have experienced a sense of flow.
Make a list of things that you feel most engage you and then make some time for these activities in your daily life.
- Study flow
Ask yourself when have you most experienced a sense of flow in study. Then identify some details around this. What were you studying, where and when? Are there any details that might help you to plan to have flow states with study more often?
