Promote your Expertise with Expert Guide

The Marketing and Communications office updates its list of experts on a continuing basis, and seeks qualified people to nominate as experts in their current field.

The names of listed experts are given to the print and broadcast (radio and television) media when they contact the University's media staff, seeking comment on a range of subjects from experts in their chosen field.

In addition, qualified persons are added to the online portal, If you are suitably qualified and happy to deal with media enquiries, please follow the directions below to add a profile:

  1. Go to
  2. Click on add an expert.
  3. Click on add me to an existing organisation.
  4. Under organisation, choose University of Adelaide.
  5. Fill out all the required fields.
  6. Once you have finished, click the Terms and Conditions.
  7. Click Add.

Your information will then be automatically emailed back to the University's Media & PR Officer for verification. All details will be checked and, if everything is correct, the listing confirmed.

By creating a listing on, your expertise for media contact details will then be displayed on your staff directory page under the heading 'Expertise for Media Contact'.
