Media expert guide help

Expert Guide is an Australia-wide online resource linking business and industry with professional and academic experts for consulting, research and professional purposes.

The Marketing and Communications office updates its list of experts on a continuing basis, and seeks qualified people to nominate as experts in their current field.

If you are an expert in your field and happy to deal with media enquiries, please follow the directions below to set up a profile on Expert Guide.

Create your Expert Guide profile

  • Step 1

    1. Go to
    2. Click the Become an expert tab in the site navigation, and select 'Sign up now'.

    1. Under 'Is your organisation already on expert guide?' click the drop down list under 'Yes' to find the University of Adelaide.
    2. Once selected, click 'Add me'.

  • Step 3

    1. Fill out all the required fields in the expert listing submission, and select the Terms and Conditions tick box.

    2. Click 'Add'.

Once you have set up a profile on Expert Guide, your information will be automatically emailed back to the University's Media Team for verification.

Your details will be checked and if all the information is correct, your listing will be confirmed.

You will receive a confirmation email once your details are included on Expert Guide.

By creating a listing on Expert Guide, your expertise for media contact details will then be displayed on your Staff Directory page under the accordion heading Media Expertise.
