Biography/ Background

Anne Amos trained as a physiotherapist at the University of Sydney and worked for a short time in the public health system as a general physiotherapist.  After completing her law degree as a graduate law student at the University of New South Wales, she worked in Competition Law as an investigator with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.  Returning to academic studies in 2004, she began her PhD in the area of drugs in sport, completing her thesis entitled “Anti-Doping Policy: Rationale or Rationalisation?” in 2008.  In 2009 she graduated from the University of Sydney with a PhD and a young family.  In late 2010 Anne joined the Adelaide Law School as a lecturer.  Her research interests are in health law (particularly public health law), anti-doping policy and general sports law.
