Anne is a chronic disease epidemiologist with over twenty years experience in the field of chronic disease. She has facilitated major data services and access for policy makers through epidemiological and statistical analysis of large population databases. Anne has been involved in new and innovative research and has expertise in establishing efficacy of different approaches to population studies including: telephone survey methodologies; cohort administration; and risk factor monitoring and surveillance.

A specialist in population surveillance methods, she has substantially contributed to the design of population survey methods. Anne has also managed many large-scale population studies. She has expertise in the population perspective of chronic disease, risk factor monitoring and surveillance of chronic conditions, risk factors and socioeconomic factors, and related policy and interventions.

Anne has over 200 peer reviewed publications, and is Epidemiological Principal Investigator of the North West Adelaide Health study. Anne is currently the primary supervisor of four PhD candidates and co-supervisor of three PhD candidates.
