Mr Jim Larkin
Jim is in his 17th year of university teaching - 15th as lecturer, 12th as a lecturer-in-charge: UniSA (1990-1995) , Flinders University (1996-2004:sem1), University of Adelaide (2004:sem2 onwards). He is currently lecturer-in-charge of Accounting for Decision Makers I and of Quantitative Methods M. Past Teaching (UniSA, Flinders, University of Adelaide) includes: Quantitative methods, financial & management accounting, accounting theory, financial management, investment theory, macroeconomics I-III, microeconomics I&III, applied economic theory, business economics & information technology. Jim is a Mathematica enthusiast (note: Mathematica is a computer software program and a programming language).

Professional Activity : Jimâ€TM
s main professional activities have been as an expert consultant to inner city accounting and commercial law firms on matters relating to inferential statistics. In this capacity, Jim has authored a 150 page expert witnessâ€TM
report (â€śEvaluation of a Sales Forecasting Methodologyâ€ť, dated 1st March, 2005) and a 25 page â€~
(dated 1st March, 2005). Jim has also conducted a statistical analysis for PPB (Chartered Accountants & Business Reconstruction Specialists) investigating a case of alleged fraud from a public institution. In 1997 Jim authored an expert report on financial risk for the Auditor General's Department.
