Ms Judi Baron

Biography/ Background

Judi is a Senior Lecturer and Convenor of the Graduate Certificate in Online Learning (Higher Education). She also coordinates the Online Learning Unit within the Centre for Learning and Professional Development (CLPD). Online Learning specialises in the areas of pedagogy, instructional design and multimedia and provides effective learning and teaching support to the University community as well as external groups. Judi is currently a PhD candidate and is researching academic staff adoption of transformative blended learning. Her research interests also include situational learning which incorporates online roleplay simulations and scenario-based learning as well as teaching online across cultures.

Judi is the South Australian Network Leader for Project EnRoLE which promotes online roleplay simulations nationally. In addition Judi convenes a Situational Community of Practice for Educators at http://www.scopenetwork.org.au
