Biography/ Background

Dr Stephen Hardy was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia and awarded a Ph.D. in biochemistry and immunology from the Flinders University of South Australia.  Wanting to understand how disease occurred rather than finding cures took him in different directions, including into the environmental sector, where he picked up a Permaculture Design Certificate along the way.

While possessing a high degree of diverse technical expertise, he also has extensive experience in strategic visioning and making science understandable to a lay audience.  Both these skills will be valuable for client engagement.

Stephen has worked in both the public and private sector including stints at the Thebarton-based biotechnology company GroPep, ARI and Flinders Partners, the commercial arm of Flinders University.

Stephen has also been active for many years in the environmental sector, particularly working with endangered species. He is on the Board of the Cancer Care Centre and is the Founder and Managing Director of Promoting Good Health Pty Ltd.
