Professor Zoe Jordan, BA, MA, PhD,is Executive Director of the Joanna Briggs Institute within the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Adelaide. She has been actively involved in the fields of health research, communication and international collaboration for nearly 20 years. Her particular interest is in contemporary approaches to health communication, specifically with regard to the emerging interrelationship and convergence of communication and culture in the context of a global society. In 2011 she won a University of Adelaide Doctoral Research medal for outstanding research at PhD level. In 2014-15 she also participated in the highly competitive Go8-C9 Research and Academic Leadership Executive Shadowing Program. An experienced researcher, she has published many journal articles, editorials and books in the field of evidence based healthcare and translation science, has supervised students at both Masters and PhD level and is actively engaged in international committees and editorial boards.
