In 2006 three prizes were awarded to outstanding teachers of undergraduates. Four high commendations were awarded to other nominees whose applications were highly regarded by the Selection Committee.

The Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching 2006
In 2006, the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching has been awarded jointly to Dr Tracey Winning, School of Dentistry, and Ms Lucy Potter, School of Humanities (English) for their outstanding contributions to teaching and student outcomes in their disciplines.
