Adelaide University Rural Health Alliance

The Adelaide University Rural Health Alliance (AURHA) is a student club whose aim is to stimulate interest in rural medicine.

The club works closely alongside both the Flinders University Rural Health Society (FURHS), and the allied health & nursing club at the University of South Australia (ROUSTAH). The club receives valuable support from the University of Adelaide Discipline of General Practice, the Rural Health Training Unit and the South Australian Rural and Remote Medical Support Agency (SARRMSA). Since the formation of the club in 1993, the membership has grown to over 150 members covering all of the six years of medicine. Membership is also offered at the postgraduate level, and is open to students in Dentistry and Health Science.
