- Research: My research is investigating the influence of genetics
on drug metabolism, transport and response. In particular, the role of genetic
polymorphisms in a) drug metabolism (cytochrome P450 isoforms, CYP2C19 and CYP2D6),
b) drug transport (MDR1 – P-glycoprotein), and c) drug response (dopamine
and morphine receptors).
