The Bachelor of Teaching double degree program with the Bachelor of Arts is designed for students who wish to become secondary school teachers in the following teaching areas:
The Bachelor of Teaching program prepares students for teaching in middle and senior secondary schools. It is also suitable for students intending to work with adult learners.
The double degree program provides a professional qualification that is recognised for teacher registration purposes in South Australia. There are opportunities for graduates in most subject areas, particularly in country areas.
Students should note that before entering a school for teaching practice and/or take up a teaching position, they must undergo a police check.
