Terms of Reference: |
Recommends to Academic Board: 1. University research policy and guidelines. Reports to Academic Board on: 2. Research management within Faculties.3. The management and commercialisation of intellectual property. 4. Monitors the potential or known impacts of externally-driven research policy and other developments. 5. Monitors and acts as a steering group for centrally-driven research based initiatives. 6. Receives reports from, and communicates with, the research committees of the Faculties. Advises the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Research) on: 7. The development and implementation of University research policy and practice.8. Research management within Faculties. 9. The management and commercialisation of intellectual property. |
