For any level

GEAP offers something for all students, from beginners with basic English skills to advanced students seeking high level tuition. To ensure you are enrolled in the appropriate level, you will sit a short placement test before your first class. The test involves reading, writing and listening and assesses vocabulary, grammar, written expression and the understanding of meaning in a conversation.

For many goals

You can study the GEAP as a stand-alone program for personal or professional advancement or to gain credit towards a degree in your home University. GEAP can also be used as a pathway to the University of Adelaide if you have not met the minimum English requirements for the Pre-Enrolment English program (PEP).

Quality

The English Language Centre is part of a world leading research University: study English in a University ranked in the top 1% in the world with highly qualified and experienced teaching staff and state-of-the-art facilities.

Practical

More than just an English program, The GEAP learning style puts an emphasis on developing your team work and problem solving skills, giving you the opportunity to display your initiative and to build your confidence.  As your language ability improves, you’ll also be developing skills that can be applied outside the classroom, whether for your career or further study.

Individual

Every student is different with unique study goals.  Tailor your GEAP program to meet your goals through our choice of GEAP Specialisations.  Whether you are looking to boost your TOEFL or IELTs score, learn about Australian culture or develop your business language skills, there is an option for you.

The GEAP class was one of the best experiences both in improving English through daily practice and in the interaction with people of different cultures as well.Alessandro - Italy
