In celebration of NAIDOC Week, the University of Adelaide has partnered with our neighbours at the South Australian Museum to provide students and staff with the opportunity to learn more about our nation's Indigenous Cultures.

On Tuesday 9 July at 2pm, Jacinta Koolmatrie will lead a guided tour of the Museum’s Aborginal Cultures Collection. Jacinta is an Adnyamathanha and Ngarrindjeri woman, and has recently completed her Masters in Archaeology. She is part of the Museum Pathways program and specialises in representations of Indigenous peoples in Museums.

The tour will run for approximately an hour, with participants welcome to stay back at the gallery to continue viewing the collections if they so wish. Spaces are limited, so please contact Samara Young at Wirltu Yarlu Aboriginal Education to secure your spot.
