Orientation 2025
Orientation is all about making the most of your time at university – take this opportunity to talk to your peers, mentors, and academics. Start to settle into university life, explore campus and feel prepared to start your next learning journey.
Transition Day: Thursday 17th July
If you are already in Adelaide, come along for a relaxed introduction to University Life. Campus tours, free lunch, casual workshops. This is a great way to ease in and get familiar with campus before the big week kicks off.
Orientation Week: Monday 21st - Friday 25th July
This is the main orientation week - full of fun, connection and useful information to start your University journey strong.
Monday 21st July
All students from all programs are invited to attend the O'Week Launch Day. There'll be giveaways, social events, campus tours and plenty of food. You'll have many chances to mingle with other students - both new and old.
Tuesday 22nd July
International Student Welcome Event - A warm welcome to our international community!
Wednesday 23rd July
Health, Medical Sciences (HMS) or Arts, Business, Law & Economics (ABLE) Program Welcome Sessions. Welcome sessions allow you to get a feel for your course, meet your peers and your academics. Attending these sessions will ensure you prepared to student from Week 1 of Semester. Individual registrations links for each welcome will be released in June.

Science, Engineering & Technology (SET) Program Welcome Sessions. Welcome sessions allow you to get a feel for your course, meet your peers and your academics. Friday 25th July
Waite Campus Orientation - there is a personalised welcome happening for students studying at Waite Campus in Urrbrae, come by to meet your new community and explore the beautiful space.
Week 1-4 of Class: Settle in Events
To help you adjust to Uni life, we are running a range of free and fun activities in the first 4 weeks of class. These events will allow you to discover support services available to you on campus and learn all about Uni life - from the sports club to the student union. No need to register for the settle in events - just come along and get involved!
