  • What is covered in the course?

The Emerging Leader Program covers foundational elements of effective leadership, with a focus on taking the leap from theory to practice. You will:

    • unpack ‘stumbling blocks’ impacting leaders today
    • explore innovative leadership approaches
    • examine and enhance your personal competencies
    • boost your confidence in meeting role requirements
    • develop skills to support your team and accelerate your business
    • build incredible connections with established leaders and peer

    Module 1: SELF

The SELF modules are about self-awareness and understanding the factors that might influence one’s thinking preferences.
When you understand yourself, you become more aware of your strengths and where your thinking preferences might be a challenge in working with others. We will unpack insights into your personal thinking preferences, character and values, identify your goals as a leader and define your leadership purpose.
Leaders who know themselves have the courage and confidence to:

    • adapt their behaviours
    • consider how their choices impact others
    • live every day on purpose

    Module 2: SKILL

The SKILL modules are about the soft and hard skills that align with who you are and help build momentum in achieving team high performance. When you have a foundation of skills (a suite of practical strategies, tactics and tools), you are better able to respond to the changing dynamics of your environment. You will be able to recognise when you don’t always have all the answers and how to find the next best question. You will have the skill to get above an issue, exercise judgement over the next steps, and be comfortable that you don’t need a ‘silver’ bullet solution to achieve high performance.
Areas of skill development we will explore:

    • Interpersonal communications
    • Decision making
    • Manager as coach
    • Stakeholder management
    • Managing complexity

    Module 3: ACTION

The ACTION modules recognise that high performance as a connected leader is underpinned by achievement. If you are to achieve a level of high performance as a leader, you must be in action to build momentum with your team to deliver worthwhile outcomes.

We will explore together how you can be a connected leader in action, building a culture of high performance through:

    • Mission focus
    • Influencing others
    • Inspiring ethical behaviour
    • Building an inclusive and cohesive team
    • Developing the next generation

  • Why should I attend?

This program is for anyone who’s recently transitioned into a leadership or management role—or those poised to. Professionals from all backgrounds and industries will gain the tools they need to lead with vision.

    How will I benefit?

For any leader, a community of peers is invaluable. Through group coaching, you’ll build skills, knowledge, and connections to set you up for lifelong success. You’ll access mentorship through our subject matter expert and undertake self-reflection exercises, with positive impacts far beyond the professional environment.

    How will my organisation benefit?

To function effectively, a team needs to trust its leader. In supporting your development, your organisation will maximise the investment they are making in you. They’ll gain a resilient leader with the expertise and confidence needed to tackle contemporary challenges head-on.
