Scholarship support for the Professional Certificate in Defence Leadership is funded by PACE to ensure our program is accessible to all candidates who have the capability and drive to undertake studies.
One scholarship per cohort may be offered to a South Australian Veteran or a person of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who can demonstrate leadership qualities and a desire to contribute to the defence industry.
The South Australian Veterans or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander scholarship will cover up to 100% of the Professional Certificate in Defence Leadership tuition fees.
Please note you can apply for a scholarship in one category only, and registration for admission into the Professional Certificate in Defence Leadership program must be received prior to your scholarship application. You will receive notification of the outcome of your scholarship application in the fortnight following the program application deadline.

Prior to commencing this application, please ensure you have the following documentation ready to upload.
- Selection Criteria
- A statement addressing how the Professional Certificate in Defence Leadership will assist you to further your leadership potential, and how your knowledge and experience will contribute to the classroom environment.
- A statement outlining how the Professional Certificate in Defence Leadership will help you to develop and lead initiatives within your workplace or community.
- A completed referee report.
- Confirmation of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage if applicable.
If successful at stage one, you will be invited to attend:
- An interview.
