Energy, Mining & Resources School Outreach Program
The University of Adelaide’s Energy, Mining & Resources School Outreach (EMRSO) program is a new outreach offering to excite students about the diverse range of careers in the energy, mining and resources industry and the role this sector is playing in our transition to a low carbon economy.
The energy, mining and resources sector underpins all areas of our modern society – from powering our cities and vehicles to the smartphones in our pockets. As emerging technologies and practices such as drones, automation, and virtual and augmented reality are adopted to make the sector safer, more competitive and more sustainable, the need for a highly-skilled future workforce has never been greater ^.
