Student Services and Amenities Fee are due
A reminder that Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) is due on 16 August.
Australian citizens, permanent humanitarian visa holders and certain New Zealand citizens who hold a Special Category Visa are eligible to apply for a SA-HELP loan to cover all, or part of the SSAF. If you elect to pay part, or none, of your SSAF and have applied for SA-HELP the balance outstanding after the due date will be deferred to a SA-HELP loan. The SA-HELP form must be completed by 16/08/2023.
To apply for a SA-HELP loan login to Access Adelaide and follow the menu paths:
1. Select 'My Finances'
2. Select 'Payment Category'
3. Select 'Request for SA-HELP assistance"
If you have not paid the SSAF in full and have not applied for SA-HELP (if eligible) by 16/08/2023 the SSAF will remain due and payable.
Please note, your Tax File Number (TFN) must also be provided to this University by the Census Date if you intend to defer some or all of your SSAF to the Australian Taxation Office. If you have not yet provided your TFN, and you intend to defer some or all of your tuition fees to the Australian Taxation Office, you will need to log in to MyAdelaide and select 'Personal Details'.
Please note that all eligible New Zealand Special Category Visa holders who have applied for SA-HELP but have not yet provided evidence of their eligibility will also receive a separate communication regarding this.
International Students, Permanent Residents and New Zealand citizens who are ineligible (or have not applied for SA-HELP) are required to pay their SSAF in full by the due date.
Please note, the following will apply if you have not paid the SSAF by the due date, and have not applied for SA-HELP (if eligible).
- A Negative Service Indicator (NSI) will be applied to your account and will remain until such time as your account has been paid in full [please note the application of the NSI to your account will prevent access to a number of University services, including enrolment changes, graduations and the receipt of academic transcripts].
- If your debt subsequently remains outstanding it may be referred to an external debt collection agency.
To view your invoice and payment methods please login to MyAdelaide and follow the menu paths:
1. Select 'Finances'
2. Select 'Invoices'
Please disregard this notice if you have paid your SSAF to the University, or applied for SA-HELP and provided your TFN, since the date of this email.
