OUTPOST Study: Uncovering the Long-Term Impact of COVID-19

OUTPOST is a national study to understand health outcomes after respiratory infection, including recovery, persistent symptoms, and functional impairment.

The study is currently recruiting people aged 12 years or above with acute respiratory symptoms (and people without symptoms as control subjects).

Study participants will be tested for SARS-CoV-2, Influenza and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).

Eligible participants receive free Rapid Antigen Tests (for COVID-19, Flu and RSV) and may earn gift vouchers (up to $110) for completing online surveys at 5 time points over 48 weeks.

The OUTPOST Study is a collaboration between the University of Melbourne, the Kirby Institute at UNSW and The University of Adelaide.
