Adelaide University timetabling systems update

After reviewing The University of Adelaide platform, we found some major issues that would make it difficult to use effectively: 

1. Open Classes Display: The planner incorrectly shows full classes as available when filtering for open classes only. 

2. Clash Resolution: The system fails to generate timetables or provide specific information when course clashes or conflicts with break times occur.  

While the platform has some useful features—like helping create clash-free timetables in ideal scenarios— the limitations in handling common issues significantly impact its overall effectiveness. That said, we’ll review it again in 2026 to see if improvements make it a better fit. 

Our goal is to make timetable planning as smooth as possible, and we’re focusing on the best tools to support that. Thanks for your patience.
