Twenty UoA students receive a Playford Trust Resources Scholarship

Students from the University of Adelaide scooped up twenty Playford Trust Resources Scholarships at the awards night on 23 June. The awards included nine Resources Sector undergraduate or Honours scholarships and 11 Resources Sector Engineering scholarships.

Have you heard of the Playford Trust? It is one of the largest scholarship funds for South Australian tertiary students. This year, the Trust, with partner support, funded over $552,000 in new scholarships and awards for students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In addition to a monetary stipend, the scholarships provide valuable professional development, mentoring, and internship opportunities for recipients. These immersive experiences will enable students to develop a career-enhancing relationship with the company supporting them.
