Sam Wall will be heading to The University of Hong Kong for exchange. Sam’s program is funded by the Westpac Scholarship, which includes funding his living expenses and participation in a Future Leaders program.
Ellen Schulz completed a Law School study tour to China; an exchange to Shanghai Jiao Tong University thanks to the Westpac Asian Exchange Scholarship; and in 2018 she completed both an internship in Sri Lanka and a study abroad program to the University of Colombo thanks to the New Colombo Plan.
Maria Positano is currently on exchange at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. As the recipient of a 2019 New Colombo Plan Scholarship and a PricewaterhouseCoopers 2019 fellow, Maria has been funded for her exchange and an additional six month internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Shanghai office.
Sophie Eather is currently on exchange at Fudan University. As the recipient of a 2019 New Colombo Plan Scholarship, Sophie has been funded for her exchange and an additional internship in China. In this article, Sophie speaks to us about her goals of promoting Australian wine in China.
Harry Lucas has completed five Study Overseas programs. His first was a Civil Engineering study tour to China, followed by a placement in the USA, an internship in Germany, an internship in Switzerland, and an exchange to the Czech Technical University in Prague.
Katie Bezzoubov completed two overseas programs, one self-reporting program to Mexico in 2015, and the Beyond the Great Wall, Public Health in China study tour in 2016. She currently works as a Project Support Officer for Disability SA.
Ryan Cunningham attended a Confucius Institute Semester Program, completed exchanges to both Tsinghua University and the University of Hong Kong, and completed an overseas internship. Ryan works in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet in their International Relations division.
