Course overview
This course provides a comprehensive understanding of conventional and alternative perspectives on leadership and explores its practice in various business contexts. The course develops awareness of the different aspects of leadership, including leadership and leading changes, traits, behaviours, and relationships, leader personality and emotions, followership, motivation and empowerment, leading teams, and power and social Influence. Students will gain insights into building relationships, and developing, and implementing strategies to support the organisation and their followers to achieve their objectives. Students will develop critical thinking skills to assess and reflect on their leadership potential and formulate strategies for developing their leadership styles, aligning with program objectives.
