Domestic students
Applications for most of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses are made online via SATAC (South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre).
International students
Visit our International Students website and use our step-by-step guide to get your career started with a degree from the University of Adelaide.

Honours
Honours is generally a one-year qualification taken after an undergraduate degree and involves further study in a particular discipline area.

Postgraduate coursework
Domestic students
The majority of the postgraduate programs have a minimum prerequisite of a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved institution.
International students
For new international students please apply via the International application site.
If you are a current undergraduate international student, you can apply for a postgraduate coursework program by completing an internal transfer form.

Postgraduate research degrees
Both domestic and international prospective higher degree by research students apply for admission and scholarships online.
The domestic and international online systems cater for three types of applications:
- Admission and scholarship
- Scholarships for current students

Study online
Online study means flexible learning, you can study from anywhere, around your existing commitments.
You will need to select the program you are interested in studying as there are specific requirements for each.

Our courses are affordable and structured to accomodate your work-life balance. All you need to do is choose the course that's right for you. Each course will have it's own specific application process, and course dates.
