Professional & Continuing EducationProfessional & Continuing Education offers a diverse range of short courses open to everyone, with formal qualification not required for most. Courses include: Professional development, language & culture, Year 12 revision courses and non-award study. The University of Adelaide's English Language Centre provides a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) and General English for Academic Purposes (GEAP) for students planning to study at university. Note: At university, the terms 'programs' and 'courses' have special meanings. 'Program' refers to the structure of study undertaken to gain a University award, such as a degree. Your program of study is informed by your study plan, which maps out the courses and requirements of your program. 'Courses' are components of study that make up a program, similar to 'subjects' at school. |
