Drop-in zone
The drop-in zone is a place where staff and students can meet together. Staff from student services and teaching staff from courses can book a table in the zone to meet with their students in an open and informal setting. This is an initiative of Hub Central, the Maths Learning Centre and the Writing Centre.
The drop-in zone is located on Level 3 of Hub Central, just near the Writing Centre and Maths Learning Centre. It consists of the five wooden tables and two white tables between the two "walls" of ropes on the eastern wall of the area.
Booking a Table
To book a table, or discuss the benefits of meeting students in Hub Central, please contact Michael Lazarou.
Please note:
- Bookings are essential.
- The space cannot be booked for tutorial classes or meetings for staff only.
- This space is for drop-in style interaction with students.
